MARISA'S COLLEGE VISITS

Every year, I spend weeks on the road visiting around 20 colleges. These visits are designed specifically for college counselors and typically include sessions with admissions officers, panels with current students, and in-depth walks through campus. Sometimes I even get to sit in on classes and see professors in action. I'm especially looking for students who are engaged and interacting with each other, and I'm listening for laughter. These visits give me a genuine feel for the culture and energy of each campus  and a clear sense of which students would thrive there.
